Current fishing report October 23, 2017 Tampa Bay update.
For this particular Tampa Bay fishing report, we will focus and expand on the awesome snook fishing that is available in and around the Tampa Bay area and it’s estuaries. These Snook are in full force feeding mode, they also range in size. Typically we have high numbers of Snook in the mid-20s, and some coming in on slot between 28”-33” but we are now getting the rare over slot trophy fish captured in the image above at 44”. Let’s investigate!
Here is the skinny on Tampa Bay snook fishing in the last 10 days. So much has changed, not only has the water temperature dropped 5° we are also transitioning from summer to fall and the bait is also scarce right now. These sudden changes have made the Snook bite absolutely phenomenal!
