It’s that time of year! Yes, when the winter birds fly north, and the local birds are devouring small bait on the flats and the estuaries located in and around Tampa Bay, Florida, the Tampa Fishing Charters®, Inc. fishing team are over-the-top with excitement and enthusiasm as the gateway into spring fishing is upon us. Some really amazing things have happened in the last two months with water temperatures dropping into the 57° range and spiking into the 70’s. With the waters fluctuating to this magnitude, fishing was a bit challenging at times. We are now entering the last week of February 2018 and the water temperatures are climbing, and the fishing is simply Incredible in Tampa Bay!
March our spring breakers commence to find their way into the Tampa Bay area, looking to shake the cabin fever off, and decompress. We have several different types of spring breakers. All the schools from elementary to college have different weeks they spring break. We also have European spring breakers, sprinkled throughout March and April.
